We've collaborated closely with the Ford team to create a comprehensive set of rules that draw from historical best practices in both air and road records. RecordSetter has provided a Garmin GPS unit that communicates Lexie's position back to our headquarters via satellite uplink. Additionally, we'll conduct spot checks at various points along the route for in-person verification, ensuring the journey meets our stringent certification criteria.

The map uses highly precise internal GPS data provided by a Garmin unit to track Lexie's position. However, for safety reasons, we've limited the zoom functionality, slightly randomized the coordinates displayed on the map and implemented a five day delay of Lexie's location.
